Kenyon College Lit Fest

 

Kenyon College, Gambier, OH: ENGL 308: Literary Citizenship hosts a literary festival to foster literary community throughout the greater Knox County area, bringing students of the college and members of the community together to celebrate the mutual love for literature. Through a diverse series of events, attendees will create, learn, and connect, with opportunities available for all to participate. The Lit Fest officially launches on April 11th and will run through April 12th, the series of events will end with the final event on April 18th at Kenyon College.

Saturday, April 11th:

  • Writing As Resistance: A Political Expression Workshop: Cheever Seminar Room 12:00-1:30 pm
  • Found Poetry Collage Workshop Series: Horvitz Hall 220 2:30-3:30 pm
  • Readers on Readers: Book Recommendation Mixer: Peirce Pub 4:00-5:00 pm
  • Writers on Writers: Professional Development for Young Writers: Peirce Pub 8:00-9:00 pm

Sunday, April 12th:

  • Meet the Mags: Kenyon Literary Organization Fair: Upper Horn Gallery 1:30-3:30 pm  

Saturday, April 18th:

  • In These Bones I Am Shifting — Film, Memory, and Black Girlhood: A Reading and Ampe Documentary Screening: The Gund Gallery Theater 2:00-3:30 pm
