William G. “Bill” Foote, age 66, of Howard, Ohio passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at the Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.
He was born on December 19, 1959, in Detroit, Michigan to Ronald and Dawn (Moir) Southall. Bill was a truck driver for Putman Trucking for over 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, boating and he also liked cooking. But most of all, Bill loved the time he spent with his loving family.
He is survived by his children, Gabriel Foote, William Foote, Amya Foote; his father Ronald Southall; his brother Ronald (Bev) Foote; his nieces, Tasha (Greg) Short, Kelsey (Steven) Black, Melisha Warner; his nephews, Chad Hart, Jeremy (Sarah) Becker, Jacob Southall; and the mother of his children Cortnie Foote.
Bill was preceded in death by his mother Dawn Southall; his brother Everett Southall; and his sister Deborah Hissong.
In keeping with Bill’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private gathering at a later date.
