Amanda Lynn Denuit, age 40, of Mount Vernon passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at her home.
She was born on June 22, 1985, in Holmes County, Ohio to James and Kathy (Gaumer) Denuit. Amanda enjoyed reading and occasionally playing video games. But most of all, she loved the time she spent with her family.
Amanda is survived by her children; Alexis Crites, Nix Crites, and Annabelle Denuit; her brothers, Jimmy Denuit, Jeremiah (Jennifer) Denuit, Jacob (Alyssa) Denuit, Joni (Stephanie) Denuit; her sister Jennifer (Russell Friend) Denuit; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Amanda was preceded in death by her father James Denuit and also the father of two of her children Shawn Crites.
In keeping with Amanda’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family will observe a private gathering at a later date.
