MOUNT VERNON — The Knox Community Hospital Auxiliary will be offering academic scholarships to high school seniors and college students interested in pursuing or currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in a health care profession.
Applications are available from the high school guidance offices of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown, East Knox, and Mount Vernon High Schools and the Knox County Career Center.
Additionally, the application is accessible on the Knox Community Hospital website. Each scholarship award will be $2,000, and the number of scholarships available has not yet been determined.
The application outlines eligibility requirements. Applicants must have been Knox County residents for at least 12 months.
Completed applications can be mailed to Knox Community Hospital, 1330 Coshocton Avenue, Mount Vernon, Ohio, 43050; Attention: Human Resources Department, or go to kch.org and click on Auxiliary & Volunteers for the online application.
