Mark Eugene Hauger, age 68, of Fredericktown, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 30, 2026, at his residence. He was born on January 18, 1958, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to the late Robert and Jeannette (Frye) Hauger.
Mark graduated from Milton Area High School in Milton, Pennsylvania and then joined the United States Air Force. He worked at the Foote Foundry in Fredericktown for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, and camping. He was very smart and knowledgeable about nature. He enjoyed his solitude and sitting in the still quietness of nature in the woods or by a stream/river or just taking long pointless back road trips with no destination. Mark liked reading, especially western novels, he was an Ohio State Buckeyes fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR.
Mark is survived by his children, Mark (Breaunna Eubanks) Hauger Jr, Travis Hauger, and Michelle Hauger; siblings, Krista (Joe) Yiko, Neil (Ruth) Hauger, Dan Hauger, and Lisa (Dave) Densmore; several nieces and nephews; step siblings, Mike, Kathy and Deeray.
Along with his parents, Mark is preceded in death by a stepbrother, Scott.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
