Carolyn Lee Peugh, age 85, of Fredericktown passed away at her home on Monday, February 2, 2026, at her home with her loving family at her side.
She was born on January 12, 1941, in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late Donald and Erma (Blanchard) Colopy. Carolyn obtained her bachelor’s degree in business administration and Ultrasound Tech. She worked at numerous hospitals, Knox Community Hospital, St. Anns Hospital, Mansfield General Hospital for over 45 years until her retirement. She was a member of the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Carolyn enjoyed quilting, puzzles, gardening and traveling. But most of all she loved the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Belinda (Leslie Rodrick) Peugh, Annette (Gregory) Jordan; her sons, Brian (Laura) Peugh, Christopher (Jamie) Peugh, Mark (Lisa) Peugh; fifteen grandchildren, Derek (Cierra) Farmsworth, Alisha Farmsworth, Spencer Peugh, Lillian Peugh, Allison (Cody) Perkins, Owen Peugh, Callie Peugh, Jace (Kayleigh) Peugh, Jaxon Peugh, Mason Peugh, Coltn Butler, Zach (Emma) Peugh, Allie (Quinten) Michael, Jennifer (Devin) Mosier, Gregory (Brandy) Jordan Jr; eleven great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; her sisters Brenda (Steve) Kennedy, Doris Colopy; and her brother Keith (Sue) Colopy.
In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband James Peugh, and her great-granddaughter Sawyer Michael.
The family will schedule a memorial service on a day and time to be announced.
