Eunice A. King, age 89, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon. She was born on March 14, 1936, in Loudonville, Ohio, the daughter of Samuel and Marie (Ross) McIntire. Eunice was a former member of the Colonial City Moose Lodge and in her spare time she enjoyed crafting and quilting, most often making special gifts for her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Shirley (Rick) Holsinger of Gambier, a grandson, Ray Scoles, two grandchildren, Alivia Scoles and Jackson Scoles.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Joyce Hyatt.
