GAMBIER — The monthly Gambier electronics recycling event has been moved from Jan 2, 2026, to Jan 9.

The event will still take place from 8:30 to 11 a.m.

Residents can drop off most household electronics for free, including non-CRT monitors and flat panel TVs under 30 inches, with the following exceptions:

• CRT monitors and flat panel TVs over 30 inches: $20
• CRT, rear projection, other TVs: $40

The exact change is requested.

Items that are not accepted include CFL bulbs, light bulbs, chemicals, hazmat waste, leaking/damaged batteries, alkaline batteries, aerosol/pressure air containers, Polychlorinated Biphenyl (PCBs), and items containing PCBs.
