MOUNT VERNON — On Saturday, Dec. 13, Food For The Hungry will host its 15th annual Snowflake Gala in support of its 2025 drive goal of $340,000. 

The Gala will be held at the Lowry Center, 221 Duff St, Gambier, which will be transformed into an elegant venue for the occasion. 

Step onto the red carpet for an unforgettable evening of glamour and giving. Cocktail hour begins at 6 pm. A stylish reception and gourmet dinner prepared by Stuart Washington and the Knox County Career Center Culinary Arts lab will be served at 7 pm.

Then, raise a paddle during a live auction. All proceeds directly benefit families and individuals in Knox County.

The Knox Community Jazztet and MTV Arts will provide live entertainment.

This year’s gala honors Bruce Jacklin with the William A. Stroud Jr. Award for Public Service. Jacklin is the foremost advocate for the arts in the Knox County community.

Co-hosts are Jacklin’s long-time theatrical colleagues Kelly Yerxa Lauth and Leah Stone Miller.

Tickets for the 2025 Snowflake Gala are $100 per person with net proceeds benefiting Food For The Hungry. Tickets may be reserved by visiting www.FoodForTheHungryCares.org/snowflakegala. Online payment is available.

Tickets must be purchased by Friday, Dec. 5.
