MOUNT VERNON — The Mount Vernon Nazarene University Music Department will present its annual Homecoming Concert on Saturday, Nov. 15, at 1 p.m. in the R.R. Hodges Chapel/Auditorium.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The concert will feature an array of inspiring and entertaining music by the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Una Voce Chamber Choir, Treble Singers Women’s Choir, Jazz Band, Flute Choir, String Ensemble and Collegians Chorale.

Highlighting the concert will be selections by Collegians Chorale with special alumni guests. Collegians will perform signature songs — “We Believe,” “The Lord Bless You and Keep You” and the gospel classic “Credo” by Robert Ray with alumni guest soloist Rachel Adams.

To close the concert, the combined choirs and Wind Ensemble will join forces with alumni to perform the moving rendition of Psalm 145, “Forevermore” by Travis Cottrell and Phillip Keveren. The song closes majestically with the words, “I will exalt my God and King. My mouth will speak in praise of the Lord. Let every creature praise His name forever and ever-more!”
