The advisory members provide support and keep lab programs current with the latest trends and equipment used in each career field. They also assist in curriculum decisions and make sure everything being taught is relevant to each career field.

The advisory dinner took place in the cafetorium at KCCC, following meetings conducted in each high school career tech lab, where different aspects of industries were discussed. The dinner was prepared by

Students in KCCC’s culinary arts program, under the direction of instructor Chef Russo, prepared the dinner. Administrators presented a PowerPoint presentation that shared the vision of career tech and provided essential data about the KCCC High School and Knox Technical Center. These meetings with stakeholders also fulfill federal funding requirements.

“This is an important evening for us,” said KCCC Superintendent Kathy Greenich. “Our business and industry partners join us to discuss important aspects of the career pathways we have at the high school and Knox Technical Center. We appreciate their time and valuable expertise.”
