DANVILLE — Listed below are the police reports in Danville and Brinkhaven from Sept. 30 to Oct. 3, courtesy of Chief Monte L. Vance.
Sept. 30
— A 73 yr. old male from Seville was issued a traffic citation for passing on a double
yellow line on Millersburg Rd. & Mohican St., Brinkhaven.
Oct. 1
— Auto accident involving a minor fender scrape on W. Rambo Street.
— Attempted fraud reported in the 100 block of S. Market St. An unknown person
attempted to fraudulently charge the complainant’s credit cards in an excess of
$12,000.
— Parking complaint in the 400 block of S. Cedar Street. A warning citation was
issued.
–A Georgia driver’s license was found on S. Market St. The person the license was
issued to was still in the area, and the license was returned to that person.
— A report of a suspicious person wandering around in the 400 block of S. Cedar St.
Oct. 2
— Parking complaint on Serilda Street. A written warning was issued.
Oct. 3
— Active investigation of an issue where an individual presented false doctors’
prescriptions attempting to obtain several drugs at the local pharmacy on E. Main
Street.
— Auto accident on W. Main Street. A vehicle backed from a parking area off the
roadway into an oncoming vehicle. The driver of the backing vehicle, a 63 yr. old
female from Killbuck, was issued a citation for improper backing.
— Report of a suspicious male loitering in a S. Market St. business. The male was
confronted by an officer, identified and checked out okay.
