MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating 77-year-old Barbara Horn.

Horn suffers from dementia. Her family reported her missing today.

She was last seen on Sept. 2 at around 12:04 p.m. Horn left her residence on McCament Road, Walhonding, on foot.

She was last seen wearing a black shirt, a black shawl, black pants, and black slip-on leather shoes. She was not carrying a cell phone or money but has a black purse containing her identification.

Due to Horn’s dementia, she is considered at risk.

Horn is a white female, 5 feet 5 inches tall, with gray and brown hair and blue eyes. She weighs 180 pounds.

The Ohio Special Response Team has been notified and will assist deputies on scene with search operations from McCament Road.
