MOUNT VERNON — Agriculture was on full display as buyers filled the multi-purpose building on Friday for the Sale of Champions at the 176th Knox County Fair.

New buyers and long-time supporters combined to support Knox County youngsters to the tune of $85,350.

Nash Stull’s Reserve Grand Champion market goat fetched the highest bid. Multiple buyers joined to buy the 94-pound goat for $7,350.
