Is Democracy your choice of social government? Do you prefer to be a Citizen or a Subject
Do you want to have fair representation and a government that is dedicated to enabling and caring for citizens?
The constitution of the United States was and is an experiment in democracy, but it is seriously flawed in one fixed aspect: it positions States as equal, regardless of population, awarding two senators to each state.
Gerrymandering in each state has further reduced the voting power of the majority of citizens who happen to live in urban areas.
For at least one hundred years, the human desire to rule subjects not citizens, to dictate rules to keep subjects oppressed while enabling freedoms for those with power and money has been pushed forward by the Republican Party.
Today, it is apparent that representatives do not represent most of the citizens in their districts, moreover, they too are becoming subjects as are the members of the Supreme Court.
All follow one person, the only, true leader who calls himself President. Thus, we are no longer citizens, we have become subjects. Subject to the President’s whims, furies, money grabbing, glorification schemes, all at our expense.
How can we reform our democracy and reclaim our citizenship?
It will take a strategic group of states to band together, may require seceding from the union, to form a new constitutional democratic order that is indeed representational and to counter the worst addictions in humans, greed for money and authoritarian power.
