MOUNT VERNON — Sixteen common pleas sentences were delivered in Knox County Common Pleas Court in May.
Wayne R. Weaver, of Brinkhaven, was sentenced to one year of monitored time on a cruelty to a companion animal conviction. Weaver was also ordered to pay $142.54 in restitution to the Knox County Animal Shelter within six months, among other orders.
Raymond Weaver, of Danville, was sentenced to one year of monitored time on a cruelty to a companion animal conviction. Weaver was also ordered to pay $142.53 in restitution to the Knox County Animal Shelter within six months, among other orders.
Kelsey Kuhn Jr., of Howard, was sentenced to a 30-month definite prison term on an aggravated trafficking in drugs conviction. Kuhn Jr. was credited 236 days toward his sentence.
Michael S. Greywolf, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to 45 years to life in prison on two counts of first-degree felony rape.
Calvin T. Boysaw, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to one year of community control on an aggravated possession of drugs conviction. Boysaw was also ordered to serve 60 days in the Knox County Jail with 21 days credited, suspended if he completes the Day One Residential Treatment Program, among other requirements.
Valyn A. Dague, of Newark, was sentenced to one year of community control on an aggravated menacing and two telecommunication harassment convictions. Dague was also ordered to complete an anger-management class and a Hands Down class within six months.
Patrick T. Underwood, of Correctional Reception Center Orient, was sentenced to a one-year prison term on a charge of illegal conveyance of drugs of abuse onto grounds. His sentence will be served consecutively in two separate criminal cases in Knox County Common Pleas Court. Underwood was credited with 300 days served toward his sentence.
Underwood, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to a 17-month prison term on a notice of change of address; registration of new address conviction. His sentence will be served consecutively in two separate criminal cases in Knox County Common Pleas Court.Underwood was credited 192 days toward his sentence.
Travis N. Hollar, of Fredericktown, was sentenced to one year of community control on a possession of drugs conviction, among other requirements.
Jordan W. Spearman, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to two years of community control on a domestic violence count and two harassment with bodily substance convictions. Spearman was ordered to serve 171 days in the Knox County Jail with 171 served, among other requirements.
Matthew C. Woody, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to serve 280 days in the Knox County Jail with 240 credited after his community control supervision was revoked. Woody was previously convicted of possession of a fentanyl-related compound.
Kristopher T. Loper, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to two years of community control on unauthorized use of a vehicle, disrupting public services and domestic violence convictions. Loper also must serve 276 days in the Knox County Jail, with 216 days already served counted toward count three. For count two, the sentence is 180 days, all of which have already been served. For count four, the sentence is also 180 days, and that time has already been served as well.
Thomas N. Oakes, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to two years of community control on a possession of a fentanyl-related compound conviction. Oakes was ordered to serve 180 days in the Knox County Jail with seven days credited, suspended if Oakes completes the Mended Reeds Residential Treatment Program, among other requirements.
Steven L. Smith, of Gambier, was sentenced to one year of monitored time on an aggravated possession of drugs conviction. Smith was ordered to serve 180 days in the Knox County Jail with 94 days credited.
Makayla J. Clawson-Harper, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to one year of community control on an aggravated possession of drugs conviction.
Robert W. Lively, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to one year of community control on a domestic violence conviction.
Carol S. Dowell, of Mount Vernon, was sentenced to one year of community control on an aggravated possession of drugs conviction. Also serve 180 days in the Knox County Jail, with 30 days already served. The rest of Dowell’s sentence will be suspended if they enter and complete the Crosswaeh Community Based Correctional Facility program, among other requirements.
