MOUNT VERNON — Knox Pages invites the community to an engaging discussion on how Intel’s new semiconductor plant in New Albany could shape the future of Knox County.

Beyond the Chip: How Intel Could Impact Life in Knox County will take place on Thursday, March 13, at Jetter Hall at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

Doors open at 6 p.m., with the event running from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Food and drinks will be provided.  

Knox Pages reporters Cheryl Splain, Grant Ritchey, and Grace McCormick will moderate a panel of experts spanning education, economic development, and agriculture to explore the ripple effects Intel’s expansion could have on local businesses, infrastructure, and daily life.

Attendees will also hear insights from the team’s reporting and the stories they’ve uncovered.  

Community engagement is at the heart of the event—audience questions will be part of the conversation, giving residents a chance to discuss how Intel’s presence may impact them directly.
