MOUNT VERNON — An Artist Co-op, opened its doors on March 1, 2011 with 20 artists.
The organization is still going strong today with 24 local creatives representing a wide variety of mediums. Members are juried and receive 90% of their sales with 10% going to rent, utilities, supplies, and PR. Kudos has no paid employees.
The November Artist of the Month is Lani Edwards. She will be available from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 21, at Kudos, 10 S. Main St., Mount Vernon, to speak to attendees about her work of photography and watercolor.
Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served and the art of 23 other artists will be on display.
