In Loving Memory of Joyce Ann (Hashman) Wenger
Joyce Wenger, beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away on October 3rd, at the age of 78, after a courageous battle with cancer. Her loss is deeply felt by all who knew her, but her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
Born on May 22, 1946, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, to parents Arthur and Evelyn (Stull) Hashman. Joyce was a remarkable woman whose life was defined by love and strength. Her nurturing spirit, infectious smile, and generous heart left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to share in her life.
Christmas was one of Joyce’s favorite times of the year, and she found immense joy in decorating and creating magical memories for her loved ones and passersby. Her home during the holidays was always filled with warmth, laughter, and the spirit of the season. Above all, she adored her grandson, Aiden Hawk, who was the light of her life. She took pride in watching him grow and cherished every moment spent with him, creating memories that will live on forever.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Angela Hawk; her loving son-in-law, Joseph Hawk; her grandson, Aiden Hawk; niece, Lori Hashman, nephew, Larry II (Shanon) Hashman; several great nieces and nephews and dear friend Linda Legros, who was a constant source of love and support. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Evelyn (Stull) Hashman, and her brothers, James and Larry Hashman.
At Joyce’s request, there will be no services. The family will observe a private burial in Mound View Cemetery.
Though she is no longer with us, the impact of Joyce’s love and kindness will continue to light the lives of all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
