MOUNT VERNON — A Knox County grand jury handed down a number of indictments at its recent session on Monday, Sept. 23.
- Dan Haynes III, of Columbus, strangulation, fourth-degree felony; disrupting public services, fourth-degree felony; abduction, third-degree felony
- Carley Ash, of Fredericktown, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony
- Mary Ford, of Mount Vernon, aggravated possession of drugs, fifth-degree felony
