JoAnn Baugher, age 88, of Fredericktown passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, at the Knox Community Hospital.
She was born on June 1, 1936, in Lansing, Michigan to the late Parr and Florence (Armentrout) Peterson. JoAnn was a 1954 graduate of Fredericktown High School. She was employed at the Fredericktown Schools as a Librarian from which she retired. JoAnn was a life member of the Cornerstone Community Church, formerly Fredericktown United Methodist Church, where she was very active in the choir and other church groups throughout the years.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey (Ruth) Baugher; her daughter Beth Hughes; her brother William (LeeAnne) Peterson; and many nieces, nephews and close friends.
In addition to her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband, of over 44 years, J. Robert Baugher; and her brother and sister-in-law Robert (Arla) Peterson.
Friends may call on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the Cornerstone Community Church (123 Columbus Rd. Fredericktown, Ohio 43019) from 5-7pm and on Monday from 10-11am. The funeral service will be held on Monday, at the church, beginning at 11am with Pastor Jerry Ernst officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.
