CENTERBURG — Josh Moss led a revival at Centerburg and the rest of the Knox Morrow Athletic Conference took notice.

Moss was selected the KMAC Coach of the Year when the all-conference teams were announced earlier this month.

Centerburg was 9-3 in KMAC play this spring, finishing second to East Knox (10-2). The Trojans were last in the league standing in 2023.

Northmor’s Grant Bentley was chosen the KMAC Player of the Year. Bentley batted .458 with 15 runs batted in and was 5-1 with a 1.01 earned run average and 56 strikeouts in 55.2 innings.

Centerburg’s Grayson Reynolds, Daniel LeMaster and Ricky Faught all earned spots on the All-KMAC first team, as did East Knox’s Bryar Householder and Caden Wengerd, Danville’s Cole DeLaughder and Nolan Ridgway and Fredericktown’s Korbin McGowan. Other first-team picks included Cardington’s Wyatt Wade and Northmor’s Drew Hammond and Trevor Brubaker.

Centerburg’s Jesse Rings and Ryder Scott, Danville’s Landon Lyons, East Knox’s Joshua Keith and Braden Davis and Fredericktown’s Carter Mull were selected to the second team. Other second-teamers were Cardington’s A.J. Hall, Danton Garrison and Caden Dewitt, Mount Gilead’s Gabe Baker and Northmor’s Cole Cuffman.

Honorable-mention picks were Cardington’s Wyatt Denney, Centerburg’s Mason Vallance, Danville’s Kendall Carter, East Knox’s Derek Field, Fredericktown’s Lane Warner, Mount Gilead’s Cameron Vickers and Northmor’s Jack Bowdre.

The All-Academic picks included Cardington’s A.J. Hall, Centerburg’s Ryder Scott, Danville’s Wyatt Nissley, East Knox’s Joshua Keith, Fredericktown’s Korbin McGowan and Northmor’s Caiden Martinez.
