Charles Newsome Fisher, age 58, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 9, 2024, at his home. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on February 28, 1966, to Charles and Sonja (Tabak) Fisher.
Charles had his own construction business for the past 25 years. He was also a volunteer Firefighter for Monroe and College Township. He enjoyed scuba diving, fishing, and riding his Harley-Davidson. Charles loved helping people out, being around the water, and was an all-around adventurer. Most of all, he loved being with his family, friends, and dogs.
He is survived by his children: Michael Chambers, Christian (Jenny) Fisher, and Sara Fisher; girlfriend, Jeanne Morgan; ex-wife, Heather Fisher; stepfather, Tommy Howard; and aunt, Bridget (Mike) Katchman.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother and his son, Dylan Fisher.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 1-3 pm with a service starting at 3 pm at the Snyder Funeral Home – Lasater Chapel; 11337 Upper Gilchrist Road, Mount Vernon, Ohio, 43050.
