Diana Lynn Trammell, 73, died unexpectedly March 8. She gave her life to Jesus Christ early and walked faithfully with Him ever since. Now she is in His presence. Diana was born in Mount Vernon and graduated from Centerburg High School in 1969. She earned a degree in psychology from The Ohio State University in 1973 and worked at Weyerhauser Corporation for many years. She worked as an accounting specialist at McDaniel CPA beginning in 2007, handling taxes, bookkeeping, and payroll and serving as the Quickbooks Pro Advisor for the firm. She was retired except during tax season.
She is survived by six siblings—Denny (Karen) Allen, Jody (Joe) Adams, Glenn (Joanna) Allen, Brenda (Gary) Mahon, Mary (Conrad) Doak, and Brad Allen—four nieces, eight nephews, eight great- nieces and seven great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Dorothy Allen, and three nephews.
Diana enjoyed many interests and hobbies, including sewing, crafts, music, reading and researching ancestry. Her priority, though, was serving the Lord, including teaching Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for years and being involved in Lifepoint Church Mount Vernon and its ministries.
