Mack R. Hamilton Sr, age 90, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at his residence. He was born on December 13, 1933, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to the late Orville and Ruth (McMillen) Hamilton.
After High School Mack joined the United States Marine Corps and received the National Defense Service Medal, he was very proud of his service to his country. Once out of the Marine Corps, Mack was self-employed and worked mainly as a painter. He was a Christian and loved his lord and savior. Mack enjoyed old western movies and joking around with family and friends.
Mack is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Jocelyn Hamilton and her aunt, Dorie Stone who was a great support and caregiver; 2 feline companions, Mimi and Katie.
A celebration of life service will take place at a later date.
