In Loving Memory of Shawn B. Tuttle
April 19, 1973 – February 5, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Shawn B. Tuttle, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. Shawn fought valiantly against pancreatic cancer, surrounded by the unwavering love of his life, Cassie Tuttle. He departed this world on February 5, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love, courage, and cherished memories.

Shawn is survived by children, Alaynna and Chance, his parents, Gary Sr. and Donna, his brother Gary Jr., his sister Robin and his nieces and nephew that filled his heart with hope and love. He was also embraced by his loving in-laws, Don and Tammy Stotts. Shawn’s impact extended far as he will be eternally missed by friends and coworkers who will honor his legacy.

A man of adventure, strong will, warmth and an easy smile, Shawn’s life was a testament to his unwavering belief in love, family, and the pursuit of a fulfilling existence. His positive attitude, love of life, friends and family, and devotion to Cassie was evident in the strength and grace with which he faced the challenges of his illness.

Shawn’s message to all who knew him was one of full speed ahead. He encouraged all around him not to waste a single moment, to express their love openly, and to craft their lives into the best stories they could be. His spirit will forever echo the sentiment that life is a precious gift to be cherished.

Shawn found joy in the simple pleasures of life – from the thrill riding his Harley, dirt-biking and snowmobiling to the warmth of a sunny day or evening bonfire. At times, Shawn would play guitar and sing a country song and when he did, all watched because he gave his all. Famously, Shawn believed in Dirt Bikes and Jesus and his genuine kindness endeared him to many. A culinary artist with a barbecue, Shawn’s love for cooking reflected his passion for bringing people together and caring for each other.

Shawn Tuttle leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness that will continue to resonate in the hearts of all who were touched by his presence. His memory will forever be engraved in the minds of those who experienced the profound impact of his love and generosity.

As we mourn the loss of Shawn, let us also celebrate the rich tapestry of his life, remembering the joy he brought to us and the indelible mark he left on the world. As we bury our brother, let us acknowledge that the life we lived alongside Shawn changed us. We will live on, and honor that a part of him is a part of us until our final day. May Shawn rest in eternal peace, and may we find comfort in the cherished moments we shared with him.
