Margaret M. Raasch, 89, of Mount Vernon passed away on January 22, 2024 at Knox Community Hospital. Margaret was born on September 6, 1934 to Bruce and Florence (Tucker) Stringfellow in Howard, OH.
Margaret graduated from Danville High School and the went to work at Cooper – Bessmer for over 30 years of service. Margaret was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church in Mount Vernon, OH. Margaret loved fishing with her husband Clifford and family members in Rice Lake Canada.
Margaret is survived by nieces Laurie Smith, Jennie Ayers, Wendy Wagner, Melissa Jones. Keith Miller, Greg Miller, Becky (Miller) Broomfield and many great nieces, nephews and best friend Jane Kinard.
Along with her parents Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Clifford J. Raasch, sisters Leona Purdy, Evelyn Henwood, Marth Mann and Saundra Auskings. Nephews William B. Hennwood and Lynn Miller.
Memorial Contributions can be made in Margaret’s memory to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 303 E.High Street, Mount Vernon, OH 43050
Graveside services will be Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 10:00am at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Mount Vernon, OH.
