Terry Rine, age 69, of Mount Vernon, Ohio, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024, at Knox Community Hospital. He was born on November 12, 1954, in Mount Vernon, Ohio, the son of John and Sophie (Hagans) Rine. Terry was a 1972 graduate of Mount Vernon High School and earned his accounting degree from Blufton University.
Terry worked in the marketing division for RevLocal and the Mount Vernon News. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and socializing with friends.
He is survived by his brother Tom Rine, a sister, Patricia Gibbs, and good friends, Mike and Melanie O’Hara, Jim Collier, and Mike Kelly.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The family will hold a private memorial service and burial will be in Mound View Cemetery. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Terry Rine.
