Walter Scott Clifton, age 61, of Fredericktown passed away at his home on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
He was born on October 19, 1962, in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Walter Clifton Jr. and Nova (McKinney) Clifton. Walter was known by his family and friends to be hard working, family oriented, and always available to help when asked. He was loving, and would do anything for his children or close friends. Walter also had a great sense of humor, was gruff at times, and donated to many charities. He was a veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps Special Forces.
He is survived by his wife Heather (Hubbard) Clifton; his son Donald Clifton; his daughters Danielle Clifton, Sierra Clifton; three grandchildren, Zayden Hillyer, Kailyn Clifton, Ember Clifton; and three sisters, Laura (Larry) Blaine, Ellen (Mark Pylant) Clifton, and Karen McCray.
In keeping with Walter’s wishes, the family will observe private calling hours and a private funeral service.
