William H. “Bill” Cline, age 78, of Fredericktown passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024, at the Knox Community Hospital with his loving family at his side.
He was born on December 17, 1945, in Mount Vernon, to the late Howard and Ruth (Bowman) Cline. Bill was employed and retired from General Motors in Mansfield with 30 years of service. After retirement he worked for Gilmore Auction, escorted for Eagle Rock Tours, and Snyder Funeral Homes which he loved serving the the people. He attended the Salem United Methodist Church in Fredericktown.
He is survived by his wife, of over 58 years, Barbara (Yarman) Cline; his sons Scott (Jill) Cline, Brent (Katie) Cline; his grandchildren, Cody Cline, Bryce (Samantha) Cline, Zachary Cline, Ava Cline, Natalie Cline; and two great grandchildren, Peyton Hauenstein-Cline and Ivy Cline.
In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother Barry Cline; and his sister Bonnie Grogg.
In keeping with Bill’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours or service. The family will observe private services. Burial will take place at Forest Cemetery in Fredericktown.
