Kevin Lee Woosley, 59 of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on October 2, 2023.
He was born March 14, 1964, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to James L. Woosley, Sr. and Vivian (Myers) Woosley-Hawk.
Kevin is going to be extremely missed by those that loved and knew him. He was known for his loving, happy-go-lucky and giving spirit. His laugh and smile were contagious. He was always willing to help others and would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it.
He is survived by his son, Joe (Taylor) Woosley, his grandchildren, and the lights of his life, Henley Jo, Boone, Dennis, and Calhen. His mother Vivian Hawk of Bladensburg, and step-mother Linda Woosley of Mt. Vernon, siblings Becky (Doug) Conard of Fairview Park, Sarah (Howard) Spray of Mt. Vernon, Korena (Dale) Broseus of Bladensburg, Annette (Rick) Hanna of Bladensburg, Bonnie Oliver of Utica, Justin Woosley of Utica and many nieces and nephews and his special friend Karen.
Kevin was preceded in death by his father James L. Woosley, Sr., his brother James L. Woosley, Jr., his sister Bridget Cline, and step-fathers Henry Barker and Robert Hawk.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Bladensburg Church of Christ. Where funeral services will be on Friday starting at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery in Gambier.
