MOUNT VERNON — Since its beginning in 2019, 22 outstanding athletes have been inducted into the Knox County Sports Hall of Fame.
On Wednesday evening, Oct. 4, the Knox County Historical Society will highlight the accomplishments of each one in a special program that is open to all who wish to learn more about these local athletes from both the recent and distant past.
Visitors can also view the extensive Hall of Fame exhibit, which presents each one in detail, including highlights from their high school, college, and professional careers.
The meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Historical Society Museum, 875 Harcourt Road in Mount Vernon. For more information, call the museum at 740-393-5247.
