MOUNT VERNON — Judge John Thatcher found 40 people guilty after trials, hearings and arraignments at Mount Vernon Municipal Court this week.

The following cases were prosecuted by the Mount Vernon Law Director’s Office.

JULY 17

Emily Klesner, 34, of Gambier, was found guilty of reckless operation.

Lydia Pitstick, 22, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of reckless operation.

Law Director, Robert Broeren, prosecuted the Pitstick case on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon. Assistant Law Director, Brittany Whitney, prosecuted the Klesner case on behalf of the State of Ohio.

JULY 18

Conner Hill, 28, of Put-in-Bay, was found guilty of assault.

Justin Flack, 30, of Crestline, was found guilty of possession of drug abuse instruments and operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs of abuse.

Marquis Peaks, 28, of Columbus, was found guilty of failing to disclose personal information to a law enforcement officer.

Talyn Boyd, 34, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of theft and failing to confine a dog.

Jennifer Hamilton, 30, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of persisting disorderly conduct.

Aaron Wolfe, 43, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

Nichole Byers, 33, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of theft.

Lonnie Ferrell, 28, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of fishing without a valid license.

Josiah Facio, 22, of Mansfield, was found guilty of improper lane usage.

Marcus Harris, 23, of Reynoldsburg, was found guilty of driving under an FRA suspension.

Cody Myers, 34, was found guilty of having expired plates on a vehicle.

Jamie Martin, 37, was found guilty of speeding.

Jessie Majors, 43, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of operating an unregistered vehicle on a roadway.

Alexander White, 29, of Newark, was found guilty of driving under a license suspension.

Alexey Vandergriend, 31, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of failing to stop or yield from a stop sign.

Tas Bunyamin, 20, of Danville, was found guilty of failing to use reasonable control.

Assistant Law Director, Brittany Whitney, prosecuted the Hill case on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon. Law Director, Robert Broeren, prosecuted all other cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and Gambier.

JULY 19

Eric Leeper, 25, of Glenmont, was found guilty of driving while under the influence of alcohol.

Victor Lopez, 22, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving without a valid license.

Troy Hoeflich, 32, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of failing to yield to a safety vehicle.

Derek Hall, 34, of Nelsonville, was found guilty of driving under a license suspension.

Law Director, Robert Broeren, prosecuted these cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and Gambier.

JULY 21

Nicholas Ross, 44, of Centerburg, was found guilty of assault and violation of a protection order.

Dawn Stanley, 46, of Mount Vernon was found guilty of criminal mischief.

Jared Farabaugh, 31, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of disorderly conduct.

Jack Burns, 64, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of two counts of failing to confine a dog.

Olivia Peyton, 30, of Columbus, was found guilty of speeding.

Aubrey Ratliff, 55, of Danville, was found guilty of failure to reinstate license and speeding.

Joshua Taylor, 32, of Columbus, was found guilty of driving under suspension and failure to display registration.

Frank Nagy, 66, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of failure to give full time and attention to the operation of a vehicle.

Shawna Posey, 36, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under an FRA suspension.

Osama Harb, 27, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding.

Zackary Pealer, 22, of Gambier, was found guilty of speeding.

Diane Elbin, 40, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of speeding.

Jalisa Jones, 32, of Columbus, was found guilty of failing to stop or yield from a stop sign.

Breonna Skala, 26, of Mansfield, was found guilty of driving under suspension.

Kimberly Hinkle, 46, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of speeding.

Jeremy Maglott, 34, of Howard, was found guilty of speeding.

Mary Balcom Jeaane, 31, of Howard, was found guilty of driving left of center.

Christine Childers, 36, of Westerville, was found guilty of speeding.
