MOUNT VERNON — Knox County Sheriff’s deputies filed these reports after their respective shifts.

JULY 13

— Deputies were dispatched to the 16000 block of Lower-Fredericktown-Amity Road in reference to a welfare check. Upon arrival Deputies conducted an investigation on the incident. A report was taken for documentation purposes and is being forwarded to the Mount Vernon Municipal Court Law Director’s office for review of potential charges.

— A complainant reported that a property that he owns was broken into. A report was taken and investigation started.

— A deputy spoke to the complainant by telephone. The complainant advised that he had a bike outside for sale and it was stolen. The complainant advised that he had the bike outside chained up and someone took the bike on July 12 after the hours of 7:30 p.m. The bike was a pink and white Mongoose XR.

— While on patrol, a deputy observed a traffic violation in the area of Mishey Road and Butler Road. A traffic stop on the violator was initiated and it was determined the driver of the vehicle, he was wanted by adult probation. He was taken into custody and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
