MOUNT VERNON — Judge John Thatcher found 33 people guilty after arraignments and hearings at Mount Vernon Municipal Court this week.
These were the cases brought forward by this week by the Mount Vernon Law Director’s Office.
JULY 10
— Alexander Burns, 30, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of violating a protection order.
— James Moore, 48, of Centerburg, was found guilty of domestic violence and aggravated menacing.
— Phalen Linville, 41, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of two counts of theft.
— George Perone Jr., 30, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of disorderly conduct.
— George Perone Sr., 50, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of disorderly conduct and menacing.
— Shanna Mickley, 23, of Howard, was found guilty of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
— Timothy Shutt, 73, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under suspension.
— Brady Pliler, 24, of Upper Arlington, was found guilty of speeding.
Law Director, Robert Broeren, prosecuted the Mickley case on behalf of the State of Ohio.
Assistant Law Director, Brittany Whitney, prosecuted all other cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and Gambier.
JULY 11
— Nicole Wheeler, 35, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of receiving stolen property.
— Nathaniel Cornell, 22, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of violating a protection order.
— Jason Lumbatis, 44, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of persisting disorderly conduct.
— Johnathon Solis, 35, of Galion, was found guilty of possessing drug paraphernalia.
— Cody Jackson, 19, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of possessing or consuming alcohol under the age of 21.
— Brian Hunter, 56, of Gambier, was found guilty of criminal trespassing and two counts of driving under suspension.
— Kaleb Brock, 20, of Coshocton, was found guilty of carrying a concealed weapon.
— Jason Whitt, 24, of Marengo, was found guilty of fishing without a license.
— Adam Quinn, 32, of Wooster, was found guilty of possessing drug paraphernalia.
— Logan Landaker, 26, of Dresden, was found guilty of operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.
— Larry Cunningham, 41, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under a 12-point suspension.
— Berhane Abreha, 36, of Columbus, was found guilty of starting/backing a vehicle without safety.
— Richard Tanley Jr., 33, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under an OVI/ALS suspension.
— Gage Gandy, 28, of Brinkhaven, was found guilty of driving under suspension and speeding.
— Olivia Ralston, 19, of Pataskala, was found guilty of speeding.
— Mark Donaldson, 27, of Columbus, was found guilty of speeding.
— Denise Monk, 56, of Howard, was found guilty of driving under an FRA suspension.
Assistant Law Director, Brittany Whitney, prosecuted the Cornell case on behalf of the Village of Fredericktown and the Abreha case on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon.
Law Director, Robert Broeren, prosecuted all other cases on behalf of the City of Mount Vernon, the State of Ohio, and the Villages of Centerburg, Danville, Fredericktown and Gambier.
JULY 12
— Steven Backus, 23 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of disorderly conduct.
— Emma Hoeflich, 25 of Fredericktown, was found guilty of failing to use a signal when changing lanes and speeding.
— Bristyl Hunter, 37 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of permitting an unlicensed driver to operate her vehicle.

JULY 13
— David Davis, 30, of Centerburg, was found guilty of menacing.

— Erick Sharpe, 54, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of shifting/loose load.
— Tessa Akers, 25, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of assured clear distance.
— Eric Jordan, 35, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under an OVI/ALS suspension and driving with a dealer plate.
— Candice Scanlon, 40, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of driving under an FRA suspension.
