Judge John Thatcher found 26 people guilty after arraignments and hearings at the Mount Vernon Municipal Court this week.
Brent James, 27 of Howard, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle Without a Valid Operator’s License. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine.
Amber Wolf, 25 of Fredericktown, was found guilty of Criminal Simulation. The Court sentenced her to serve 180 days in jail, with 178 days suspended, and placed her on two years of probation with the following condition: complete the Court’s Social Responsibility clinic.
Brady Boyce, 48 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an OVI/ALS Suspension. The Court sentenced him to pay a $500 fine and serve 30 days in jail.
Bruce Dupler, 60 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Assault. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine, serve 180 days in jail, with all time suspended, and placed him on two years of probation.
Jacquelyn Price, 33 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension. The Court sentenced her to pay a $250 fine.
Jacob Middleton, 23 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle with Expired Plates. The Court sentenced him to pay a $25 fine.
Brian Higgins, 42 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine.
Kurt Hester, 35 of Fredericktown, was found guilty of Driving Left of Center. The Court sentenced him to pay a $30 fine.
William Atherton, 40 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension. The Court sentenced him to pay a $300 fine.
Jared Farabaugh, 27 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct. The Court sentenced him to pay a $50 fine.
James Schaade, 30 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under a License Forfeiture Suspension, Obstructed View, and Failure to Control/Weaving. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine for the DUS charge and a $50 fine for Failure to Control.
Christopher Ballard, 32 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension and having Fictitious Plates. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine for the DUS charge and to pay Court costs and serve one day in jail for the Fictitious Plates charge.
Nichole Byers, 29 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Domestic Violence. The Court sentenced her to serve 180 days in jail, with 143 days suspended, and placed her on two years of probation.
Courtnie Foote, 28 of Danville, was found guilty of Possession of Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia. The Court sentenced her to pay a $150 fine and suspended her operator’s license for 180 days.
James Shuler, 47 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Domestic Violence. The Court sentenced him to serve 30 days in jail, with all time suspended, and placed him on two years of probation.
Cody Linger, 22 of Croton, was found guilty of Assault and Driving on a Closed Highway. He will be sentenced on September 10, 2019 following a pre-sentence investigation for the Assault charge and was sentenced to pay a $35 fine for Driving on a Closed Highway.
Mary Sellers, 63 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct. The Court sentenced her to serve three days in jail.
Tre Spangler, 23 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Criminal Trespassing. The Court sentenced him to serve 30 days in jail, with all time suspended, and placed him on one year of probation.
Michael Aliff, 46 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension. The Court sentenced him to serve 10 days in jail.
Sierra Duncan, 29 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under an FRA Suspension. The Court sentenced her to serve seven days in jail.
Anesha Tharp, 23 of Killbuck, was found guilty of Driving Under Suspension. The Court sentenced her to pay a $300 fine.
Vauna Stoutenburgh, 20 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Criminal Trespassing. The Court sentenced her to serve 30 days in jail, with all time suspended, and placed her on one year of probation.

Mark Chun, 29 of Broadview Heights, Ohio, was found guilty of Driving Under Suspension and two counts of Speeding. The Court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine and serve seven days in jail for the DUS charge and to pay a total of $125 in fines for the two counts of Speeding.
Joseph Duffey, 18 of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under Suspension and Possession of Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia. The Court sentenced him to pay a $100 fine for the DUS charge and a $150 fine for the Paraphernalia charge.
Michael Cooper, 25 of Howard, was found guilty of Disobeying a Red Traffic Light. The Court sentenced him to pay a $35 fine.
