KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
April 14
- Geoffrey S. Hinkle was arrested for an outstanding warrant for violating a protection order. He was searched and handcuffed. Hinkle was then transported to the Knox County Jail where he was released to jail staff without incident.
April 17
- The complainant spoke to a deputy by phone to report her daughter’s cellphone had been stolen from the girl’s backpack at school sometime during the school day. The phone is described as a white Apple iPhone XR. The phone has a tracking app that can locate the phone as soon as it is powered up. At the time of the report, the phone had not been turned on.
- A deputy was dispatched to a Highland Hills Circle residence on a report of a burglary. A report was taken.
- A deputy was advised of a law enforcement officer who needed an emergency response. When the deputy arrived at the incident location, he found it was a domestic violence incident. A report was written to document the incident.
- He complainant reported while he was at the fairgrounds for an auction, someone entered is vehicle and removed an air filter and an intake line. Nothing else to report.
