JACKSON TOWNSHIP — A Frazeysburg man was killed Sunday after a one-vehicle crash on County Road 56 in Jackson Township, according to the Mount Gilead Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Adam A. Harris, 32, was operating a gray, 1996 Ford F-250 southbound on Earlywine Road at approximately 4 a.m. when his vehicle struck a tree that had fallen across the road. Harris succumbed to his injuries at the scene, the Patrol stated.
Seatbelts were in use at the time of the crash. Neither alcohol nor drugs are suspected to be a factor in the crash.
The Mount Gilead post was assisted by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Bladensburg Fire Department, Bladensburg EMS and Knox County road crews.
The crash remains under investigation by the Mount Gilead Patrol post.
