Crash Report

Feb. 15

  • Kristin E. Eckard was traveling south on Foundry St. and came to a stop at the intersection with Mount Vernon Ave. Christine N. Hamilton was traveling west on Mount Vernon Ave. and entered the left turning lane. Eckard crossed over the intersection and struck Hamilton as she entered the left turn lane. Eckard was cited for failure to yield right of way.
  • Gabrille Regime Kish was traveling east on Coshocton Ave. behind Maleash Mae Bainbridge. Bainbridge turned right and Kish struck her in the rear of the vehicle. Kish was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

Feb. 16

  • Esme Cole and James E. Doup were traveling west on Coshocton Ave. near Eastgate Dr. Doup approached the intersection and stopped for the red light. Cole did not stop in time and hit Doup in the rear of the vehicle. Cole was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

Incident Report

Feb. 15

  • A theft was reported to the MVPD on S. Main St. The investigation is ongoing.

Feb. 16

  • Officers responded to a report of a burglary in progress at an East Chestnut St. residence. Officers determined it was not a burglary but just new tenants cleaning up the residence. An item of drug paraphernalia was recovered at the residence and secured into evidence to be destroyed later.

Feb. 17

  • Two officers responded to a Hickory St. address on a report of a female returning to the residence and causing a disturbance. The female was arrested for criminal trespass and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

Feb. 18

  • An officer responded to W. Gambier St. in reference to a theft from a vehicle. When the officer arrived he spoke with the complainant/victim who stated she left her vehicle unlocked over the weekend and multiple items were stolen.

Feb. 13

  • Benjamin Harvey, 28, N. Division St. was arrested and charged with assault.
  • Benjamin Austermiller, 47, W. Vine St. was arrested for an arrest warrant.

Feb. 14

  • Teresa Deboard, 60, New Delaware Rd. was cited for failure to yield when driving onto a road.
  • Brett Bonsel, 22, Howard, was cited for driving under a 12 point suspension.

Feb. 15

  • Holly Daniels, 27, Kentucky Ave. was arrested for a probation violation.
  • Michael Hall, 20, Greenwood S. Carolina, wasa cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
  • Kristin Eckard, 22, Greenville, PA, was cited for failure to yield right of way.
  • Laterea Kandel, 27, Shirley Ave. was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
  • Gabrille Kish, 18, Coshocton Rd. was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

  • John Palmer, 28, Upper Gilchrist Rd. was cited for driving under an FRA suspension, motor vehicle stop lights, and changing lanes without safety.

  • Shae Fairchild, 40, E. Hamtramck St. was cited for no operator’s license.
  • Lacy Holt, 37, Ridgewood Ave. was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
