Dec. 24
- The victim advised the KCSO that she had her purse stolen on Marla St. in Centerburg and wanted to make a report on the incident. She said she left her vehicle unlocked and her purse was stolen from the vehicle on Dec. 23, 2018 between the hours of 4:30 PM and 6:45 PM She was advised by the KCSO on how to cancel her credit cards to protect her credit.
Dec. 26
- An officer spoke with the victim’s, daughter by telephone. She wanted to report that her mother had been scammed by a male she had been talking to online. The victim had sent the suspect, who evidently lives in California, several hundred dollars worth of Amazon gift cards. The suspect then set up an AT&T cell phone account using her credit card. The victim needed to make a report to local law enforcement to give to AT&T in order to get the incident resolved.
- A complainant came to the KCSO to report one of his tires had picked up a screw in the area of Apple Valley Dr.
- A deputy spoke with the complainant by phone. She wanted to report she had been victimized by someone making online purchases using her credit card.
Dec. 27
- The complainant called the KCSO to report Brandon Styndl was intoxicated and was being physically abusive toward her. Deputies responded to the scene and arrested Styndl for domestic violence.
