KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
Dec. 14
- The complainant reported that on her way home both of her passenger side tires were popped by something in the roadway. She requested a report for insurance purposes.
- A deputy was on patrol on Coshocton Ave when he saw Andrew Schuster walking west on the sidewalk. The deputy contacted Schuster’s probation officer who told the deputy to arrest him on a probation holder for failure to check in with her. The deputy was assisted by two other officers and he arrested Schuster who was transported to the Knox County Jail, where he was released to jail staff.
Dec. 15
- Deputies responded to Woodlawn Cir. For a possible burglary in progress. The complainant came home to find an unknown vehicle parked min her yard with one occupant inside. Upon arrival, deputies found the individual in the vehicle unconscious. Emergency medical staff evaluated the individual at the scene and cleared him. The suspect, David A. Randolph, was placed under arrest for OVI, open container and possession of marijuana.
- The complainant reported someone used her credit card at a Kroger grocery store in Michigan. She canceled her card and reported it.
- The complainant called the KCSO to report someone had placed nails in the roadway causing flat tires on their vehicle. The suspect is unknown at this time.
Dec. 16
- A deputy was dispatched to Kenyon College Campus Safety to assist with an intoxicdate3d student. The student was issued a summons for underage consumption of alcohol.
- Deputies were dispatched to an area of Hopewell Rd. on a report of two suspicious vehicles. The complainant/homeowner later discovered the vehicles were stopped due to a deer crash involving a separate vehicle. That vehicle left the area prior to the arrival of law enforcement officers. The deer was located and dispatched by deputies. A deer slip was issued to the complainant for the deer.
- Deputies were dispatched to a residence on Market St. in Bladensburg on a report of a male individual who had locked himself in his bedroom stating there were people in his home with firearms. Deputies were able to make contact with the individual and located methamphetamines and meth paraphernalia inside the residence. The individual, James C. Fletcher, was arrested and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
