July 10

  • Larry R. Carter and Linda Smithberger were traveling west on Coshocton Ave. Smithberger stopped for traffic and Carter hit the rear end of Smithberger’s vehicle. Carter was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

  • An officer was dispatched to Martinsburg Rd. on the report of a theft. A report was taken.
  • A male suspect was found to have a hypodermic needle while in the bathroom of the MVPD.
  • An officer responded to a report of a temporary protection order violation.
  • An officer was dispatched to Coshocton Ave. on a report of a female with active warrants. Subject was secured. Found property was secured and a report was taken.
  • At 4:00 PM, found property was reported on E. High St. Complainant advised an unknown white powder was found. The substance was collected and secured into evidence for destruction.

  • Janet Stutzman, 67, Martinsburg Rd. was cited for failure to yield while turning at an intersection.

  • Ronda Hathaway, 68, Fredericktown, was cited for running a red light.
  • Todd Punches, 30, Homeless, was arrested and charged with violating a protection order.
  • Tara Tomlin, 28, Upper Gilchrist Rd. was arrested for a warrant for probation violation.
  • Larry Carter, 73, Danville, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
  • Reinn Poole, 230, Coshocton, was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
