MOUNT VERNON – The City of Mount Vernon has announced McKenzie Street between Ohio Avenue and Gambier Street will be closed beginning on Friday, August 28th for two weeks.  During that time crews will demolish the house at 200 East Gambier.  The structure was heavily damaged by fire in November of last year.
