MOUNT VERNON-The annual Byron Saunders Foundation Chili Cook-off and Family Fun Day was held Saturday and more than a dozen chili chefs participated. The event was held to raise awareness and funds for the Foundation’s Knox County chapter, which provides thanksgiving meals for those in need in the Mount Vernon community.
In addition to the chili tasting, visitors enjoyed a dunk tank, balloon animals, bubbles and live music from Autumn Daze .Â
