Jennie Louise Mauler, 95, of Mount Vernon passed away on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018 at home surrounded by family.
She was born on July 25, 1923 in Knox County to the late Ray and Nora (Needs) McNutt.
Jennie retired from the Alcove Restaurant with 37 years of service.
Jennie is survived by her children, John (Cheryl) Mauler, of Mount Vernon, and Kathy Ann (Terry) Fowler, of Howard; son-in-law, Anthony Watson, of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynn Brenkman, Joseph Gillespie, Robyn Gillespie, Travis Gillespie, James (Bobby) Fowler, Joshua Fowler and Heather Coffer; 10 great grandchildren; sister, Donna Gamber, of Titusville, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jennie was preceded in death by her daughter, Vicky Watson on Dec. 22, 2017; three brothers and three sisters.
The family will have a private service at a later date.
