June 1

  • A deputy observed a vehicle on Columbus Rd. swerve and then pull into driveway. The vehicle had hit a deer and was disabled. The deputy made contact with the driver, Daniel Jandzinksi and conducted field sobriety tests. Jandzinksi was arrested for OVI.

June 2

  • Deputies were dispatched on a report of a man trying to enter houses and fight people. Officers had responded earlier in the shift to a report of the same individual causing a disturbance while intoxicated. The suspect, Joshua Allen Parker, was located and found to still be intoxicated. He was arrested for disorderly conduct with persisting while intoxicated and transported to the Knox County Jail.
  • While patrolling on N. Clayton St. in Centerburg, a deputy visually identified James A. Martin walking toward the Centerburg Commons Apartments. The deputy had dispatch call Adult Probation to see if they still wanted Martin picked up for probation violation. The deputy did not get an answer soon enough so he stopped Martin and talked to him. Dispatch finally responded they could not contact Adult Probation so the deputy called the probation officer directly. She said she still wanted Martin picked up. The deputy informed Martin he was being arrested for a probation violation. He was then transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.
  • A complainant came to the KCSO to report her ex-husband was threatening her. She said he ex-husband knows where she lives and is scheduled to visit. George Lockett was arrested for inducing panic and threatening violence. A report was taken and forwarded to the City Law Director's Office.
