This discussion is not about NRM, so if you ignore him he'll go away just like the annoying neighbor kid. Also "aproudamerican" the english language is going to start taxing you for excessive use of ???? and !!!.
Anyway, I say "turn up the heat on Wise". That should be his opponents campaign slogan. I'm calling the commissioners office to tell them to make some cuts, add the temporary sales tax, maintain law enforcement, and find someone to audit their spending.

Maybe after the county employees lose their jobs and houses, they can rent a stall at the fairgrounds to live in for $300.00 a year! I'm sure they have free electric and water.

OMG ! If what NRM is saying is true and we have say 50 stalls @ just 240.00 a month that comes out to $144,000.00 a year it could be making instead of the $15,000.00 / year now.

Carlos good advice on NRM, but on the ??? and !!! how much do I owe. LOL But seriously I do like the campaign slogan. Also I think a citizen board that would review spending would be great..

Does anyone else see an ethics problem with Wise choice propane supplying the Knox County Fair grounds?

There's another incident not covered by the MVNews but by the Columbus Dispatch regarding Commissioner Wise.

The Knox County Airport - Mr. Wise took it upon himself to replace their propane tank (from another business), replace it with his own supply (from his business) and subsequently bill the Airport for his own product. The owners of the Airport were forced to consult an attorney to demand that he return their original propane and remove his.......

All three incidents in question were covered, as I said, by the Columbus Dispatch. Why the MVNews chose to ignore these incidents is beyond me.......but all are substantiated - and we're all aware that there are many stories the MVNews has refused to cover in the past until they hit the Dispatch and were covered around the State.

Carlos wasn't there another incident where he made the same type of threat?

CM Have you received any word back on our questions? You would think these are very simple and would not take any time at all to answer. I wonder if they have to discus what the answer should be?

You have got to be ****tin' me Think about that NRM, thought you were a big supporter of veterans, any idea what my monthly retirement check is based on an O-4's pay @ 30 years, then throw in 100% disability & social security. Guess what, I earned every God Damned penny of it, never suffered from ROAD, a malady I refused to tolerate from anyone in my presence, and you believe veterans should be limited to $1,000.00 a month, really?

No......but I sent it off late Thursday - so it would have been received at their office yesterday - Am factoring in a possible day off - but am in total agreement that they will discuss my letter amongst themselves before answering, as I've brought one other issue to their attention that has to do with grant monies they've been awarding in the past to an entity that is not fulfilling its stated goals; and have discovered that all three discussed that particular issue between themselves before getting back to me.......one of them is a current Board Member of the entity not fulfilling its stated goals - and they're blindly awarding $50K of county funds to this entity for NOT doing it's job - Kindasorta like Bob Wise Being on the Fair Board Committee - potential problems with ethical and conflict issues......

I'll wait until Monday at 5 p.m. for an answer - and if I don't receive one will post the entire letter on here and use KP as a vehicle to ask why the Commissioners are ignoring their constituents, and refusing to answer their questions.....

p.s. I sent them a link to this thread so that they can review for themselves their constituents' concerns....

I will not go along with any increase in taxes. Any commisoner who votes for it will be voted against by me. The county government is no different than any other branch, there is way too much waste. Make deep cuts, then do something that will shock ALL county employees. MAKE THEM DO THEIR JOBS. OMG what!!!! These people have cushy jobs, through they like to complain, just like teachers. At the rate unemployment is raising, soon there will no be enough workers to keep taxing! So get used to it. Get a gun, learn how to use it, and protect yourself. People need to go back to the time when they didn't depend on the government to wipe their nose and a$$.
