You were puzzled by why I was still giving the Prez a break

I listed several reasons......

I don't post on this forum to insult others' convictions, nor to have mine insulted....when I'm insulted, I simply ignore the poster and look for others to share ideas with......

I know you believe some who support the Prez are dangerous; I can assure you that I felt the same way about Rumsfeld, Gonzalez, Ashcroft, Cheney, Libby and on and on and on........I guess it just depends on one's perception of "dangerous" - doesn't it

A friend passed this along with the complaint about Bush policies wrapped up and packaged by Obama's speeches and a big regret on her vote.

Will post legislation for five days on the Internet before signing it; OK, not.
I will close Gitmo day one, well OK maybe not.
I will stop military tribunals day one, well OK maybe not.
No EARMARKS in stimulus bill, well OK but ONLY 9000.
No EARMARKS in Omnibus bill, well OK, but well talk about reforms later.
No lobbyists, well OK just as many as I want.
Out of nafta, well maybe not.
I will end the patriot act, well maybe not.
I will end renditions, well maybe not.
I take terrorism ‘Deadly Serious’, well OK I’ll give fata only $900 million but that’s all.
Out of Iraq day one, well OK maybe not.
My administraction will be the most transparent, well OK maybe not so much.
I will end FISA, well maybe not.
I will end ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’, just not in the first couple of years.
I will share the photos of our guests at gitmo, maybe not.

The District’s Firefighters and EMS personnel will volunteer their time to guide students in hands-on activities and teach students about the firefighting and emergency response techniques they use to respond to various situations.
