MOUNT VERNON – A woman who lured a convicted felon’s victim outside a West High Street bar so he could be robbed was sentenced to six months in jail and three years on probation.
Jodiah Berger, 27, of Fredericktown, was convicted of attempted robbery for her role in the March 28 incident. Knox County Prosecutor John Thatcher said that Berger helped Jacob R. McQueen, 24, rob a male victim of his wallet by inviting the man outside the bar.
Berger was ordered to undergo mandatory drug and alcohol treatment and must maintain full-time employment. Thatcher said failure to uphold the terms of her probation will result in a 17-month prison sentence, which Knox County Common Pleas Judge Otho Eyster suspended.
McQueen was sentenced in July to four years in prison.
