Man sentenced for having sex with 14 year old

MOUNT VERNON – A Frazeysburg man will spend the next three years in prison for having sex with a 14-year-old girl earlier this year.

Wayne Rittenhouse Jr., 26, was sentenced this morning by Knox County Common Pleas Judge Otho Eyster and classified a Tier II sex offender with a duty to register with authorities for the next 25 years.

Knox County Prosecutor John Thatcher said that the incident that landed Rittenhouse behind bars happened on April 26.
